When you look in the mirror, are you starting to notice signs of aging such as uneven skin tone and texture, fine lines and wrinkles, and more? If so, you may be able to benefit from Tixel, a non-surgical solution to common signs of skin aging and imperfections.

What is Tixel?

Tixel is an exciting and innovative skin resurfacing treatment to address stubborn signs of aging and a dull complexion. As the first Thermal-Mechanical Action (TMA)® Technology, it was designed to achieve excellent skin resurfacing results. It is safe for all skin types, with no social downtime, ensuring beautiful results that leave you feeling confident in your skin.

What Skin Conditions Does Tixel Address?

The Tixel treatment offers many benefits and addresses multiple skin concerns on the face and neck. This treatment is ideal for addressing the following:

·       Skin tone and texture

·       Acne

·       Acne scarring

·       Fine line

·       Wrinkles

·       Rosacea

·       Stretch marks

·       Skin laxity

How Does Tixel Work?

Tixel employs TMA technology, which combines both heat and motion with a medical-grade titanium tip. This non-invasive approach transfers thermal energy to the skin, creating micro-channels of controlled damage. In turn, this brings new cells to the surface and triggers collagen and elastin production for skin rejuvenation.

Unlike other modalities, Tixel is not a light-based treatment; it is non-invasive and leaves the outermost layer of the skin intact for quick and easy recovery with little to no downtime.

This treatment is also well-tolerated; for light to medium treatments, topical anesthetic is not required. One treatment is fairly quick, taking only about 15-20 minutes to complete.

Tixel Results & Recovery

Following your Tixel treatment, there is no downtime. However, you should avoid direct sunlight as best as possible for 24 hours. Heavy exercise, saunas and hot tubs, and abrasive skincare products should also be avoided. After 24 hours, you can feel free to use a gentle cleanser to wash the skin, as well as light moisturizers, sunscreen, and makeup.

For optimal results, 3 treatments are recommended once every 4-6 weeks. However, those who are treating more in-depth issues such as acne scarring may require more treatment sessions.

Tixel results can last anywhere from 1-2 years. Maintenance treatments may be required to preserve outcomes.
