The entirety of Restylane Contour procedures are generally no more than half an hour long and often provide immediate results. Before the fillers are injected, the team at Aesthetic Clinique, under Dr. Steven Weiner’s supervision and/or training, will sterilize your treatment area, then the fillers will be administered via a syringe throughout the treatment area. A topical or local anesthetic may be applied for patients with low pain tolerance, but patients generally do not feel any pain during or after the procedure—if anything, you can expect a sensation of pressure where the filler is injected.
Some patients may be encouraged to consider combining Restylane Contour treatments with another type of filler or cosmetic procedure. While this is possible, you will need to discuss your options and candidacy for each procedure separately. In your initial consultation, be honest about your medical history and prescriptions and ask any questions you have—this will ensure we can find the best combination of procedures to achieve your desired outcome.

However, Restylane Contour is an injectable, meaning micro-wounds are left in the skin—it is common for patients to experience minor swelling and redness while the small wound heals.
