WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID?

Hyaluronic Acid is a go-to for skin hydration, but don’t let the word “acid” fool you. This gel-like water-holding molecule is a moisture-binding ingredient that helps keep skin plump and hydrated. And it’s actually something our bodies naturally produce.

Hyaluronic Acid helps the skin retain moisture because it can hold 1,000 times its weight in water within the cells of the skin- making it an excellent moisturizing ingredient.

What You Can Expect

PREPARATIONS

When preparing for treatment with Revanesse Versa™, you will first have a consultation with your healthcare provider. Once you collectively decide that Revanesse Versa™ is the right product to use for your established treatment plan, you can get started. The injections themselves will be completed in under 20 minutes.

You may be advised to avoid alcohol or certain medications prior to your injections to prevent bruising and bleeding during or after treatment. Revanesse Versa™ injectables are recommended for use only in patients 22 years of age or older and should not be considered for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or are allergic to the products in Versa™ injectables. You should speak with your healthcare provider about any and all skin related concerns prior to your treatment.

RESULTS AND RECOVERY

Revanesse Versa™ injectable dermal fillers give you fast results with minimal to no downtime necessary. There is essentially no recovery process and results can be seen almost immediately. Final results are typically reached in just 7-10 days after treatment.

Common side effects include redness, bruising, itching, and slight swelling at the injection site. Most common side effects resolve on their own a day or so after treatment. There are very rare, but serious side effects. It’s important to speak to your healthcare provider about any concerns, allergies, and past reactions to cosmetic procedures prior to treatment.

COST & CONSULTATION

As with all elective cosmetic procedures, Versa™ dermal filler injections are not covered by insurance. The price of Versa™ injections is partly determined by the number of syringes and whether or not it is combined with other treatments.
