What is a liquid facelift?

A liquid facelift is a non-surgical treatment where we will inject dermal fillers to reverse the effects of aging on your skin. Liquid facelifts are perfect for those with fewer wrinkles and mild sagging.

The injected dermal fillers replace fat (volume) that has been reduced over time and provide your skin a smoother, plumper appearance. Dermal fillers help to regenerate collagen and elastin which help support your skin once it is injected. Your skin’s collagen framework weakens as you age and use your facial muscles more. Moisture and flexibility can be lost, leading to wrinkles.

There are many types of fillers we use. In general, they range in viscosity or how thick or thin the filler is. The area(s) we are injecting determines if we use a thinner or thicker type of filler that will be used. There are many FDA-approved fillers we use such as Restylane, Lyft, Silk, Refyne, Defyne, Sculptra, and Versa. Some patients also choose to augment their liquid facelift by adding in PDO threads that provide an additional lifting effect filler alone cannot accomplish.

What to Expect on the day of a non-surgical facelift?

During a liquid facelift, you can expect multiple injections of dermal fillers. Before starting, our team will provide a local anesthetic to numb the area. Each injection takes just a few minutes and may target areas such as:

• Sagging cheeks
• Nasolabial folds between the nose and mouth also called marionette lines
• Creases beside the mouth that cause jowls

Liquid Facelift Recovery
