What are Dermal Fillers?
Let’s start with the basics! Typically fillers use hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a natural substance found in your body. Since these filters aren’t made using animal sources, allergy testing is not needed prior to your treatment. Other, heavier, dermal fillers use a compound called Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) that’s found naturally in our bones.
