This technology cools fat down to a certain temperature to where it will partial die, but leave the other structures intact. The CoolMini is a newer technology from Coolsculpting that uses more uniform cooling, and doesn’t require the full one hour to get treated. It’s suction grabs onto the fatty area and stays attached for the 45 minute cycle. It can be used to the central and lateral portions of the neck. It can go up to 3.5 mm which is into the superficial layer of fat. By adjusting the power and pulse duration, fat along the jawline, jowls, and submental areat can be treated.
